Life in a Metro

Fast speeding cars, burgeoning population, a scorching sun  symbolizes life of a metro city. Metro cities are often places where most of the people land up doing one job or the other due to prospects of growth. They represent advancement , upgradation in living standards and a tinge of western culture. Delhi is one such place second largest city full of all the hues of life.Its indeed a growing city not because of advancement in trade, technology , living standards but the aspirations that grow everyday with this city. This city embraces one and all who transgress their native land in search of new opportunities.Some adapt to the culture of the place with varied cuisines, people, places. But some who are unable to adapt to this, start developing a sense of alienness that keeps following him or her everyday. Sooner or later the person feels trapped and wants to break these shackles and eventually this leads to a new form of living where thousands accompany him  but in reality he is alone but happy.

No Free Lunch

Shifting gears  to new life, leaving behind your friends, family is a daunting task. Life is rollercoaster full of thrill, excitement ,fun, fear and what not. You never know what will be awating you next. As soon as you step outside you realize circumstances are not hunky dory kind but full of challanges . When you are really far and outside the purview of that soothing environment you realize the true face . Everyday fighting your inner conscious to keep yourself up.It becomes all the more challenging when we can't share the feelings with anyone not because you do not have anyone to share but you keep things to yourself. I wish life was full of free lunches where everyone without any fear can do anything they wish to do. Solutions to all your problems was there in some book which you can read and get relieved of. What if there was no worry for the future, just keep watching your favourite stuff or just eat anything or everything. All the time you are surrounded by your family and friends . Vow the idea sounds amazing but at this point I have to bite the bullet and get started .There are no free lunches in life so  have to sail through this ocean all alone ......

America a fortnight back was on a blatant display of belligerency against Syria but Russia's timely intervention helped curb the unfortunate. Syria is highlighted on the world map because of the use of Chemical weapons of mass destruction (CWD). America and its allies accused the Syrian govt. for this use of weapons against the people. So to oust the govt they deemed it necessary to  destroy the weapons in the name of Humanitarianism by carrying out targeted strikes. Russia intruded by labeling this use of power on part of America as unethical . Both the countries even in  post cold war era  have always locked horns on world issues when one tries to overpower the other. America use guns to get rid of guns and Russia in order to do away with the American dominance takes the route of diplomacy and political negotiations. Neither of them trying to get a genuine solution to the problem. Instead of extravagant deployment of military in war torn areas in the world, efforts should be made to invest in education and generating employment. Education will liberate people from the shackles of ignorance and instil in them the sense of connection with the world .
Employment on the other hand will help the youth to explore the capabilities and direct them away from indulging in terrorist activities. Opening up more schools at primary level, vocational education,Universities,
etc will help in this direction . Technology can play a vital role. Superpowers can maintain their hegemony by incorporating these ideas instead of military interventions . War is never a solution . Mala a 16 year old girl received plaudits for her vision which aims at ending wars. If a teenager can comprehend and come up with a solution why can't the high minds work in this direction to bring about peace and tranquility at world level..
